Job Profile
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Execute and monitor the general expense payment process for five fund umbrellas, ensuring all
transactions are processed accurately and in accordance with governing fund documentation.
• Validate and manage monthly service load fee calculations and coordinate their distribution to service
providers, maintaining reconciliation trails and exception logs.
• Administer monthly investment management and trailer fee payments, verifying underlying data
sources and ensuring proper allocations across share classes and jurisdictions.
• Perform quarterly investment management fee and trailer fee calculations, applying appropriate
breakpoints, hurdle rates, and contractual terms while documenting assumptions and variances.
• Coordinate the quarterly processing of Manco and investment management fees.
• Support the preparation of fund financial statements.
• Disseminate annual due diligence (DD) questionnaires to investment managers and track completion
status, highlighting any red flags or non-responses to senior risk staff.
• Assist in the annual review of Investment Manager Service Level Agreements (SLAs), assessing
performance against agreed KPIs and escalation protocols.
• Organise and schedule investment manager board presentations, ensuring materials are distributed
timely and action items recorded and followed up appropriately.
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION
Education & Experience
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in asset management, fund management, or banking, preferably
within investment operations, fund accounting, or operational risk roles involving financial control
and oversight.
• Sound familiarity with interactions involving fund management companies, fund administrators,
transfer agents, and depositary banks, particularly regarding fee mechanics and service agreements. Meticulously detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities; capable of mapping end-to-end financial
processes to identify control weaknesses, inconsistencies, or risk exposures.
• Committed to accuracy and accountability under tight deadlines, demonstrating consistency and
professionalism during high-demand periods such as month-end, quarter-end, and audits.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English; able to produce clear documentation, challenge
findings constructively, and engage confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
• Holds a Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline,
providing foundational knowledge in financial systems and risk-aware processes.
