Job Profile

Key responsibilities include:
a. Investment Analysis – Assist the PMs in their quantitative and qualitative analysis, critical to support
the portfolio construction, performance evaluation and investment decisions making process.
b. Investment Universe Screening – Support the PMs in their maintenance and review of the approved
investment universe, ensuring alignment with the selection criteria and compliance standards.
c. Investment Proposal Preparation – Assist the PMs with the development of investment proposals and
model portfolios, in line with the clients’ requests and the Bank’s in-house investment views.
d. Risk Management – Support the monitoring of portfolio exposures, ensure adherence to the investment
guidelines and the implementation of mandate risk controls framework.
e. DPM Offering Management & Development – Contribute to the creation and maintenance of DPM
Offerings in Asia. Support periodic product reviews, documentation and coordination of approval with
the New Product Approval stakeholders in Asia.
f. Collaboration & Process Enhancement – Partner with the PMs and PM Business Support Teams, to
improve the overall operational efficiency.
g. Other ad hoc duties that may be tasked by the members of CIOO Asia.

 

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION

• Good communication and coordination skills to deal with different levels of stakeholders
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing priority or feedback
Professional and Technical
• Education: Bachelor’s/master’s degree in finance, Economics, Investment Management, Financial
Engineering, Quantitative Finance or Business (with Finance specilaiziation). Candidates with other
degrees (B.Com, BBA, BA, etc.) will be considered only if they hold relevant investment certifications
(CFA/NISM) or relevant work experience
• Ideal candidates should have 2–4 years of experience in investment analysis, portfolio management
support, wealth management, private banking, product management (DPM/PWM/AM), or risk/quant
analytics
• Certifications (preferred):
• CFA Level I (minimum)
• NISM Series V-A / VIII / XV
• CFA Investment Foundations or equivalent entry-level investment credential
• Skills:
• Proficiency in Bloomberg, Microsoft Excel (including functions and macros), PowerPoint.
• Exposure to programming languages such as VBA/Python is preferred.
• Strong analytical mindset, detail orientation, and collaborative skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deliverables.
• Background in quantitative analysis will be preferred.
• Language Skills: English (oral and written).
