Job Description: Vice President, Business Development (Valuation Services)
We are seeking a dynamic and highly connected Vice President of Business Development to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence across California and the broader West Coast. The ideal candidate will be a strategic relationship builder with a deep network within the corporate, private equity, venture capital, and legal communities. You will be responsible for originating new valuation engagements by nurturing relationships with C-level executives, financial sponsors, law firms, and accounting partners. This is a senior role that will be instrumental in shaping the firm’s growth trajectory in a key strategic market.
Consultant/Senior Consultant-Valuations
Key skillset-
-Sound knowledge of business valuation and corporate finance concepts. Should be able to conduct research on industry and analyze financial statements.
-Experience of working on valuation assignments for tax & financial reporting in reputable professional services & firm will be preferable.
-Valuation experience with venture capital backed growth stage companies and mid-market companies for US GAAP and tax regulations will be an advantage.
Deal Advisory-Senior Consultant/Engagement Lead
- 2-6 years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity or M&A advisory would be preferred.
- Excellent analytical and web researching skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Strong financial and business analysis skills with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques
- Proficiency in working on databases including Bloomberg, CapIQ, Thomson Reuters and Pitchbook.
- Excellent word, ppt and excel skills
Analyst – Fixed Income Credit Research
The role involves writing equity and credit research notes, analyzing financials of corporates, banks, and sovereigns, monitoring earnings, and using financial databases. It requires expertise in valuation, bond screening, macroeconomic analysis, and credit rating models, along with strong client management, quality checks, and mentoring skills. Additional advantages include GCC/US market exposure, distressed debt experience, and advanced technical skills.
